Hola Amigos!

This is our "About Page". Sweet Sixx is an American married couple homesteading off-grid in Baja California Mexico and are musicians full-time.  Sweet Sixx has been together twenty-four years, recording and touring the last 10.

This page will give you a full background on who is Sweet Sixx, what we've done, and what our music, lifestyle, and website have to offer.

The Dynamic Duo: The Story of Sweet Sixx

Sweet Sixx is the vibrant partnership of Rachel Pack, known affectionately as "Sweet" on stage, and her husband Sixx Pack. Beyond their multifaceted roles as event production managers, graphic artists, social media marketers, and tour

guides, they are accomplished musicians with an insatiable passion for travel.

With over 50 years of combined experience in producing and marketing events, seminars, tours, and festivals, Sixx's background boasts an impressive array of achievements. He's served as a magazine and newspaper publisher, hosted "The Webmaster Show," a nationally syndicated radio talk show where he interviewed luminaries such as Bill Gates (Microsoft), Reed Hastings (Netflix), even Larry Page, and Sergey Brin (Google Founders), and at one point Sixx even announced for professional MMA events.

Rachel's journey, on the other hand, was shaped by her love for fitness. Holding positions ranging from head lifeguard to marketing director, her nearly 11-year tenure at the YMCA equipped her with a diverse skill set that she seamlessly integrated into her role as Vice President of the California State Fresno Kinesiology Club.

Their paths converged in Fresno, California in 2001, as Sixx produced a concert adjacent to Sweet's workplace at Fresno State University.

Married since 2003, they've turned their shared love for music and adventure into a colorful life and career. From managing blues and Latin festivals to orchestrating an 850-mile charity walk down the Baja Peninsula, their expertise in event production knows no bounds, earning them numerous accolades along the way.

Their entrepreneurial spirit led them to publish "Mexico Living" in 2007 and establish the Baja Good Life Club in 2010, offering discounted insurance to foreign residents and travelers in Baja California, alongside Baja Tours and Events. In 2014, they founded the Blues Against Hunger Society, harnessing the power of blues music to raise food and make a tangible difference in communities.

Their journey took an unexpected turn in 2013 when fellow musicians Pancho and Sal of the Rio Samaya Band suggested they pursue music during a boat-building project. Embracing the suggestion wholeheartedly, Sweet Sixx, along with their band The Wild Pack, deliver performances that span more than a decade, blending up-tempo swing, blues, and classic and modern blues-rock with elements of rumba, waltz, and rock 'n' roll.

Music has become the cornerstone of their lives, reshaping their journey in profound and unexpected ways.

The band was formed in 2013 when Sweet and Sixx were asked to help the San Felipe food bank. Wild Pack (now Sweet Sixx) is a full-time touring jam band and host band for Blues Against Hunger Society, international charity food concerts  "We're blessed to be able to do what we love, travel, play, music and follow our passion of helping others. We now play with musicians, far and wide, and share what we love. We hope to jam with you, sometime, someplace - out there in the WILD!"
