Sweet Sixx, a dynamic duo hailing from the sun-kissed shores of Baja California, Mexico, blends bohemian roots with a fusion of blues, reggae, and jazz. Comprised of Sweet Rachel on bass, vocals, and percussion, and Sixx on lead vocal, guitar, and keyboard, the duo's music is a smooth and soulful journey through a variety of genres.

Influenced by reggae and jazz guitarists such as Ernest Ranglin, Django Reinhardt, Kenny Burrell to classic rockers Richie Blackmore, and David Gilmore. Sweet Sixx has developed a distinctive sound that blends elements of blues, reggae, and jazz. Their music is characterized by guitar, deep soulful vocals, and a strong rhythmic foundation.​
With their unique blend of bohemian roots and fusion music, Sweet Sixx offers a truly original and unforgettable experience. Their goal is to share their passion with as many people as possible, spreading their music far and wide.

“Sofa King Bueno” is as much a statement as a title in it is both how we feel about our debut release and our outlook on the future. The style affectionately call “Gypsy Blues” because it is all based in blues and tends to swing, with world influences including reggae, rhumba and more.

Chapter 13 - 2024 Release (November)
Following the success of their debut album, "Sofa King Bueno," Sweet Sixx took time to regroup after the pandemic and now are is excited to release their sophomore effort, "Chapter 13." While the band's signature "bohemian" style remains a cornerstone, this new album delves deeper into their own lives and deeper into the music they love reggae, dub, and jazz, with a Latin influence that adds a unique flavor.

"Chapter 13" showcases the band's evolution, expanding their sonic palette beyond the guitar-driven sounds of their first album. The addition of organs, synths, and other instruments creates a richer and more textured sound that complements the band's groove-oriented approach. Fans can expect to hear infectious rhythms, soulful melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics that celebrate GROOVE, GANGA and THE GOOD LIFE and as always the power of music.

Over the years, Sweet Sixx has achieved numerous milestones, including performances at prestigious events and festivals, including

- Yuma Howling at the Moon (4 years),
- House of Blues San Diego,

They have also embarked on successful tours, such as the Brewers and Blues Westcoast, Por El Amore de Baja Tour, and Baja Blues Tour for eight years.

The duo's philosophy aligns with Plato's quote, "Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything." Sweet Sixx believes that music has the power to uplift, inspire, and bring people together.
